Official: Kiev not to see deficit after duties on Russian diesel fuel
KIEV, Jul 25 (PRIME) -- Ukraine does not expect diesel fuel deficit after introduction of special duties on imports from Russia, representative for President Vladimir Zelensky in the government Andrei Gerus said in a Facebook post on Thursday.
“There will be no deficit, no price instability… The fuel station chains and large consumers have already ordered tankers with diesel fuel which go to Ukrainian ports,” Gerus said.
Earlier on Thursday the Ukrainian government introduced special duties on imports of Russian diesel fuel by pipeline and on Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG). The largest oil product importer to Ukraine Wexler Group said that it will suspend imports from August 1.
